I had a very happy moment today when I posted my weekly DIY project on design*sponge. I never know how much chit-chat people want to hear from me when I introduce a project, and usually I keep it to a minimum. But since I have been doing this for a year now I think I am loosened up a bit and letting my personality show more in the writing, which is good I guess. But ANYWAY, I slipped a little curb joke in there because I couldn't resist...and it was great to see a few comment writers make curb jokes back. Ah it was so satisfying!
there's a chance this project will be published in the design*sponge book that's coming out next year, and i am very very excited. i also did several projects exclusively for the book which i cannot share, but i am so excited to see the end result. it's over 400 pages, and i am so amazed that grace put it all together in such a short time. amazing grace (i bet no one's made that joke before)!
