Her designs are beautiful and unusual. I've heard of Elisa Strozyk - she did her masters last year at the same university that I go to. My tutor knew her and said that she was trying to see if it's possible to cut the wood using some kind of a machine, as it's all done by hand at the moment so she can only produce tiny quantities of stock. But because the pieces aren't taken from a single sheet of wood it makes it almost impossible!
